The Thoughtful Classroom: Teaching to Overcome Educational Disadvantage

23 Mar 2012 2:48 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)
This conference, to be held at the University of Melbourne on Saturday 2 June 2012, will have a dual focus on:
(a) facilitating thoughtful dialogue in primary school classrooms – as modeled, for example, by the practice of ‘Philosophy for Children’; and
(b) overcoming educational disadvantage.

It will be a full day event organised by the University of Melbourne in partnership with FAPSA (the Federation of Australasian Philosophy in Schools Associations).
