The Australasian Association of Philosophy (AAP) offers several prizes on an annual basis:
- The AAP Media Prize for the best philosophical piece published in the popular media in Australasia by a professional philosopher.
- The AAP Media Professionals' Award for the best philosophical piece published in the popular media in Australasia by journalists and other media professionals.
- The AJP Best Paper Award for the best paper published in the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
The Media Prizes and AJP Best Paper Award are sponsored by Taylor and Francis, who publish the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
The Australasian Association of Philosophy (AAP) is pleased to announce a competition for the design of a logo for the Association. There will be a prize of $500 for the winner. The Association reserves the right not to award the prize, and also the right to hand the winning entry to a graphic designer for modification. The acceptance of the prize by the winner will constitute the yielding of the rights to the submitted design to the Association.
Entries should be submitted before May 23, 2008, to the Executive Officer of the Association, Eliza Goddard
