Research Assistant – Plunkett Centre for Ethics (Bioethics/Philosophy)

•       Commencing 5 August (or earlier if possible) to 20 December.  Up to 11 hours per week.

•       Salary: casual academic $39.59 per hour + super

The Plunkett Centre for Ethics seeks to employ a research assistant for work focused on, though not limited to, the following projects:

o    Ethics of looking after dementia patients: promoting and restoring autonomy 

o    Ethics of competence and autonomy in volitional disorders 

This position requires applicants to have expertise and experience working in the areas of applied ethics and ethical theory.  Those with a background in analytic philosophy and/or bioethics are invited to apply.

 

Educational requirement: postgraduate studies in one or more of the discipline areas listed above.  A PhD is not an essential requirement but will be highly regarded.
