Schelling and Post-theology

A public lecture by Professor Wayne Hudson, University of Tasmania

In this paper, Professor Hudson will argue that resources relevant to arguing about the prospect of “post-religious” thought can be found in the great German Idealist Friedrich Wilhelm Schelling’s last philosophy. The “last Schelling“, Professor Hudson contends, can provoke us even today to rethink the terms in which religion and mythology are discussed.

All are welcome. This is a free event, hosted by the Melbourne School of Continental Philosophy and Deakin University Philosophy Department, with thanks to the Melbourne School of Graduate Research.
