Philosophy at Deakin University specialises in Continental philosophy and has internationally recognized research strengths in ethics, philosophy of religion, social and political philosophy, cross-cultural studies and psychoanalytic philosophy. We are currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Philosophy with research interests in some aspect of the history of philosophy. The ability to teach philosophy of language is desirable but not essential. The position is full-time for two years till 31 December 2012.
